Prof. PhDr. Karel Rýdl, CSc.
Prof. PhDr. Karel Rýdl, CSc. (1952)* is an expert in the history of pedagogy and alternative educational approaches, also focusing on the evaluation of the quality of pedagogical processes. He has served as an advisor to several Ministers of Education and works as a university teacher and academic at the University of Pardubice. He graduated from the Nymburk Grammar School in 1972, class 4.C.
He began his academic career as a student at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, where he graduated in German Studies and History. He defended his rigorous thesis on “Cultural Enlightenment in the Podkrkonoší Region” and earned the title Doctor of Philosophy in 1983. In 1986, he received the scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences for his dissertation on work schools within the reform movement. Further research in the field of alternative pedagogy earned him the title of Associate Professor in the 1990s, and in 2003 he was appointed Full Professor at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava in the same academic field.
For many years, he devoted his professional life to teaching the history of education and comparative pedagogy at his alma mater, the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. From 1998 to 2001, he served as Head of the Department of Education at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. Since 1996, he has also worked (initially as an external lecturer) at the Institute of Languages and Humanities at the University of Pardubice. Between 2001 and 2009, he was Head of the Department of Educational Sciences and Vice-Dean for External Relations at the Faculty of Arts, University of Pardubice. From 2010, he spent five years at the same university as Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs. In 2015, he was elected Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
Prof. Rýdl is the author of more than 200 original scientific works and over 300 professional articles published both in the Czech Republic and abroad. He is a member of numerous organizations and professional associations, particularly those focused on alternative currents in pedagogy.

Alexandra Kallay
is the founder and executive director of the Institute for Environmental and Ethical Education, as well as a qualified professional consultant specializing in the implementation and adaptation of wellbeing practices within the Czech context. She is actively involved in the development of IEEV z.s., whose activities focus on programs aimed at strengthening ethical awareness in contemporary society.
Methodologist
Mgr. Milada Smutná
is a lecturer of Ministry of Education–accredited programs for teaching professionals and a mentor supporting educators on their learning journey. She is the author of methodological materials, online courses, and the book The Dyslexic Brain. As a finalist of the prestigious Global Teacher Prize 2023, she has long focused on the impact of stress on learning, neuropedagogy, and the personal, social, emotional, and ethical education of children. At Liška Primary School, she serves as the lead teacher and mentor for the first stage.
IEEV Coordinator
Kateřina Vaculková
is a consultant, coach, and lecturer with experience in both the profit and non‑profit sectors. She supports individuals and groups in discovering their motivation and talents. She is currently deeply engaged in the field of social work at Palacký University in Olomouc. She considers an ethical approach, empathy, kindness, tolerance, and the development of interpersonal relationships to be key to the growth of every individual and of society as a whole.
Facilitator Trainer
Mgr. Jindřich Monček
is the director and founder of the private primary and secondary school JEDNA RADOST in Poděbrady, which is built on the values of respect, autonomy, and meaningful learning. He also works as a guide for kindergartens and primary schools within the Eduzměna Kutnohorsko project. Since 2012, he has been providing mentoring support to teachers and school leaders and serves as a methodologist‑trainer of the SEE Learning program in the Czech Republic.
International Relations
Mgr. Jan Formánek
is a graduate of the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University, specializing in Humanistic Environmental Studies, a field grounded in ethical principles. Professionally, he has focused primarily on management, business, and IT in an international environment. Since 2021, he has been involved in the SEE Learning program and, within IEEV, coordinates international relations and communication with partner organizations.
Facilitator Trainer
Libor Vilím
“He is a practical trainer with five certified coaching trainings. For more than 30 years, he has been dedicated to experiential and intuitive education, coaching key competencies, and supporting the development of professionals’ unique strengths. His work focuses on self‑managing organizations, and he supports the SEE Learning program as a tool for cultivating social and ethical intelligence that enhances quality of life and human collaboration.
School Facilitator
Mgr. Petra Špindlerová
is a Czech theatre, television, and film actress who has also been actively dedicated to yoga for many years. She studied yoga in India and other countries and created a yoga concept for teenagers, with whom she continues to work. She is the founder of the YogaHelp Foundation and a member of the board of Život dětem. Since 2021, she has been involved in the SEE Learning program as a certified instructor and leads the workshops ‘The Art of Breath.

Iveta Jílková
is a lecturer and coach with experience in the banking sector. She has been dedicated to personal development for many years, and through her approach she helps cultivate the strengths not only of our team but of the entire project. She has extensive experience in employee development and managerial skills, contributes to the implementation of educational programs, and continues to expand her expertise through the SEE Learning program.
School Facilitator
Bc.Petra Arcimovičová
is a physiotherapist and a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, a field she has been devoted to since 2013, having previously worked in the healthcare environment. She is interested in meditation, Zen Buddhism, and music. One of her greatest joys is practicing qigong, which she teaches to both adults and children. She also works as a teacher of the Dances of Universal Peace, which she can offer in schools and kindergartens as well. She considers the practice of teaching SEE Learning to be a foundation for cultivating kindness toward oneself and others, and she enjoys integrating these simple techniques with insights from her other areas of expertise.

Mgr. Jindřich Veselý Ph.D.
is a philosopher, theologian, translator, and editor who collaborates with publishing houses such as Malvern, Portál, Argo, OIKOYMENH, Volvox Globator, Trigon, and others. He is also a professional translator, has worked on SEEL publications, and is qualified in the expert adaptation of texts, particularly with regard to secularization.

Mgr. Hana Střechová, MBA
“is a graduate of the Metropolitan University Prague and lives in the Karlovy Vary Region, where she has long been involved in its development. She has extensive experience in project management within the non‑profit sector as well as EU operational programs, including projects implemented for the Karlovy Vary Region. In Cheb, she led the Youth Information Centre, where she organized dozens of educational events and contributed to the creation of programs and methodologies focused on developing competencies and improving the employability of young people.
